THIS IS NOT A REGULAR POKER GAME

Your ticket price is the only price you pay. No betting against the house. Your chips come with your seat. You cannot buy any more chips. The chips have no monetary value.

TEXAS HOLD'EM JUST FOR FUN

We chose Texas Hold'em as the theme for our annual Gala in 2025. It can be a fast paced game and we encourage you all to PLAY HARD, PLAY FAST, PLAY RECKLESS!

TALKING OF FAST PACED

You'll see a choice of ticket prices for each of the three days. Which day you attend depends on your budget. You can select from any of the 10 sudden death heats on the day of your choosing. You will receive an email confirmation. On arrival there will be a swag bag waiting, assigned to the information you received in your email. If you have purchased a ticket for Heat 1 which starts at 9am you need to be inside the convention center by 8:30am. We advise you to be inside at least 20 minutes before your heat.

SUDDEN DEATH HEATS the 411

At 9am on Friday, August 29th, Heat 1 of Day 1 begins at the sound of the siren. Our hosts will be giving the 5 minute, 4 minute, etc., countdown so follow your usher and get your seat fast. The dealer will be dealing their cards as soon as the siren ends. Anyone not seated who should be forfeits. We're not stopping to wait for anyone. You chose to play reckless and you lost!

WHAT HAPPENS AT THE END OF MY HEAT?

After 45 minutes of play (so no dawdling with making decisions on throwing in your chips) there will be another siren and the dealer removes all cards and chips in play. The chips you have in front of you when that siren blasts is what counts. Our counters will count your chips and your name will be entered on the leaderboard. The top 108 players have survived the sudden death rounds and move on to play for coveted prizes with our celebrity guests.

WHO ARE THE CELEBRITIES?

We are rounding up our celebrities already. We know how busy they can get so want to ensure they are booked early.

Our Day 1 celebrities will be from the worlds of social media influencers, reality TV shows, talk show hosts, minor sporting personalities.

Our Day 2 celebrities will be from the worlds of indie music, TV shows, indie movies, video games and streaming shows.

Our Day 3 celebrities will be from the worlds of main stream music, blockbuster movies, major sporting celebrities and hit TV shows.

IF I'M NOT IN THE TOP 108...

If your name is on the leader board, don't leave. Sit at a bar, sit at a café table, sit at a practice table, go take a selfie or two with our celebrities on the red carpet. As long as your name stays on the board you have survived. The moment your name drops off the leaderboard it's GAME OVER and you are free to leave or stay and watch the rest of the day. No matter whether you were cut or make it through, know your ticket purchase is helping one or more non-profit. Our website will have updates on which charities are being supported. Your ticket purchase is also going toward the next celebrity being revealed.

AND THEN?

If your name is STILL on the leader board after all ten sudden death heats then CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! You are still in the game. You get to sit at a table with a celebrity and try to help them win for their charity and coveted prizes for yourselves. We don't want you to just throw in all your chips, we'd love for you win too. Trophies and thank you tokens of appreciation go to the top three players each day for you to be able to show all your friends, family, fans and followers that you had fun at the Celebrity High Octane Charity Poker Tournament!

OK, SERIOUSLY THOUGH, I WANNA KNOW MORE

Sure. We'll have two celebrity hosts, they will be with us for the whole three days. We'll also have two celebrity team captains who will also be with us for the whole event. The other 10 celebrity players will change each day. Some are experienced poker players, others not so much but it should help to make the event even more fun for all attending.

WHAT IF I DON'T WANT TO PLAY BUT WANT TO HELP?

You can always just straight up donate without buying a ticket.

You could be an event Patron Spotlight Host and help cover the costs for the equipment, tables, food trucks, etc.,

You could also buy a ticket for a family member, friend, neighbor, work associate (Just remember all participants MUST be over 21 years of age)
